Hello from Vancouver, B.C, Canada!
Just picked up a beautiful 2004 Breva with 19,000km, came with; side cases, givi top box, navi, couple wind screens,engine guards, a helmet, and a bunch of little maintence goodies.
Rode it around for awhile today and I love this little bike! It's so easy to ride, it's nice not having it wanting to kill me at every twist of the throttle, previous bike was a 2010 1098 Streetfighter.
The Brevas clunky shift and ticking really add to the experience, although the stock exhaust leaves me wanting more, but that's for another time.
Not quite sure how I ended up with the breva, but I'm glad I did. I test rode a lot of different style of bikes; big cruisers, dual sports, and coming from sport bikes. The Breva just spoke to me and put a smile on my face the whole test ride.
I've been reading up and trying to learn as much as I can about the bike, and the rest of the Guzzi lineup. The ease of maintence and reliability definitely helped me buy it.
I look forward to what this forum can offer, and thanks to everyone for what's already out there for a noob like me.

Hey, I know that bike, it has a few nice features, just had the steering head done, well looked after.

Yeah it's in excellent condition and very well looked after, previous owner was sad to see it go but he's got other priorities at the moment.

I put a set of Mistral mufflers on mine and like it quite a bit. You can really hear the motor's song when you open the throttle (i.e. it is loud) but when you dial back the throttle it is acceptable (does not set off car alarms in the parking garage). :grin: Hope you have some good years with it.

Whatyamean "entree" Dusty?
Some of us know that after the B750 Dahling, there is simply nothing else. :grin:
They are great grin factor bikes Koski. When you get it in the tight twisties and wick the throttle some your grin will split your face. :thumb:

Baby Breva was my first Guzzi. Missed it from the day I sold it. V7 Stone now feeds my small block needs.

When my Griso hit 40,000 miles the shifting became snick-snick. The biggest thing most Guzzi riders don't do is squeeze in the clutch 2+ seconds before you drop it into first. It allows the tranny to spin down so there's no "clunk".

It's OK Koski , Muzz is in New Zealand , and you are in Canada , two places where English isn't the first language :grin: Geez , it is bad when an Okie has to give out lessons in English :shocked: :laugh:

Ahem.
We won't say anything about the education system in Oklahoma, which excels only when compared to that of Mississippi, West Virginia or Nevada (*cough*). Nor shall we raise the question of typical reading levels or vocabulary, percentage of the population who speak and read more than one language, or even how many have ever traveled more than a few hundred miles from their birthplace (though Kiwis are somewhat handicapped in this matter, unless they are very strong swimmers).
Habilite en la langue des Anglais n'est pas trop difficile de decouvrez au Canada! :evil:

Sounds nice. Must say he is being very "restrained". My rev counter tends to sit around the 4000 7500 rpm mark.
