These don't show up on ebay, or for sale too often.

Looks like a good example, although the red repaint does not appear to be the correct shade.
Puzzled why the transmission would need be rebuilt with just 12000 miles on the bike.
My 83 Le Mans III has over 22k, and the gear box shifts and feels fine.

An easy way to know it's a repaint is because the left tank eagle faces forward.
From the factory, the left eagle faced rearward.
Color is hard to tell on computer images, but it does appear too pink, to me.

probably not the trans, probably needs a clutch hub, so it shifts hard...

Looks nice. Are those stock rocker covers?

Non stock valve covers. They do look nice though.

In the third photo look at the mirrors and you can see the face of the guy taking the pictures. I assume he's the owner. Anybody recognize him? Maybe he's a forum member? Probably not....

Never assume a color from a photo. It could be spot on or or could be pink. No way to tell without your eyeballs on it.

Hmmm, I missed that detail.
On the upside, it does have a nice set of Lafranconi Competizione mufflers.
