Lately I have been unable post images to the forum. Anyone else having difficulty posting? I hit the add image to post button, the dialogue box comes up, I select the photo I want, but it does not appear in the image box, or the post. What am I doing wrong??

Where to start ? Emos aren't working , picture , well , whatever image works ...

You need to have your picture hosted online somewhere. Facebook, Photobucket, etc. Then you need to click on that photo, copy link location, then paste into WG. You do that by clicking on the photo icon which is right under the B for bold icon. You then Control V the link and Bob's your uncle. Unless Bob has gender issues. The new system doesn't require all of that . Let me find Luap's thread on the subject .

Edit , well it's here somewhere , need a little help here fellas .

Yea for several months now When I would post a picture, it would be deleted shortly after. I finally quit trying to post pictures.
-
FWIW: I have Edge as my new standard browser.
Using Edge I'm not able to catch the link address to copy it, from Flickr. Have to switch to Explorer.

Photobucket links seem to be working fine on this site.

I always use Moo.

I resize with photoshop first but that's no drag. Usually make the large size at 800. Works well.

I uploaded this using the new "add image to post" method. There is a size limit on the images that it will upload. Try resizing your image to 1024x768 or something similar as large images will not upload.

Photobucket blew up on me some time back, couldn't upload to it nor post from it (I suspect "Enhancements"), so went to SmugMug for photo hosting. A bit slower but it works well, maybe because I pay a little bit for it rather than use the "free" bit ... ?

Yes the Atlas was truly photogenic. Sadly reliability issues forced me to sell her. If I had enough money I would have kept her just to look at and maybe the occasional burble down the street on Sundy mornings. What it really needed was electronic ignition. The Magneto could not be timed right for both cylinders. But I became a guzzisti instead and could never face another old pommy twin. I would own an ES2 or a Velo Venom in a heartbeat.

My mate when I was at uni had a Dunstallised Atlas. What a fire breather. :copcar: Vibrated sure but what the heck. An awesome beast to ride. Was trouble free right up until a big end cap came undone and the conrod basically cut the motor in half when it broke.
p.s. Having no trouble posting photos off the computer. Really like the new system.

Yeah yeah all the Pommy crap, but then there was :

Once you've been there , there's no turning back I find.

Yes very good but quite shiny, I am not sure where there is at this stage......
Can I ask where you got the crankshafts reground or valve guides sized for running clearance if needed.
Les, none of those are mine, though I enjoy the shine of them. I am aspiring to the first Black one and taking my Ambo as far as I can in that direction. I'm on the home straight now. Having owned a Cali3 and a T3 is my meaning of 'There'.
I've done my Ambo engine with new big ends, rings, valves and K-lined guides.
I sent the crankshaft, main bearings, conrods and heads to Peter Roper for pro evaluation.
Pete told me I could run with the crank and mains, just needed to fit new con rod bearings but no crank grind.
The sludge trap was half full and the sludge cap was a fairly easy thing to remove in my case.
I believe I had got to it just in time as the only scoring was on the big end shells and the crank measured good, as did the mains.
The heads had new valves with k-lined guides and the valve seats were heavily punched around the edges when I got them back, obviously insurance against dropped valve seats. Apparently the alloy in these heads is a bit of a worry, hence K-lining instead of new guides.
I was also very fortunate with the barrels because they were fitted with cast iron inserts and the original Guzzi pistons were OK. I had some bother getting rings to suit but Harpers came to the rescue.
I fitted a new clutch and new flywheel bolts.
The gearbox with the bike was set aside because the output splines were twisted. I got another from USA and also got another back wheel as the splines there were K'n-rooted.
I'm currently fitting Greg Bender wiring and I have to say, do yourself a favour and use him for this. He is so friendly and helpful, contact him and tell him where you are at, when you're ready he sends you 'the questions' which means he fits all the correct terminals for every junction and his instructions on the internet are fabulous.
I also got the Stainless Cycle nut and bolt kit and like Greg Bender, these dudes are just excellent with everything bagged and labelled beautifully.
Been using MG cycle for many things as well.
Pete Roper is due to go overseas any moment but give him a call soon as I think he may have got his offsider organized to fill his very large shoes.
Let's see, here's his mobile: 0417462440
He'll help you with all the engine stuff mate.
PM me if you want to chat . I'm doing all my own painting and polishing here too.
PS Here's where I was at a couple of weeks back. Guards and tank now primed with 2 pack undercoat.

hmm. Working for me. Tried with 2 different computer and 4 different browsers...
No, that's not my bike. Not yet anyway :-)

Just tried again. No joy. The imgbb dialog box pops up, I select a picture, but then nothing after that.
