Title: No , you aren't banned

 It has been brought to my attention that some members are getting a message saying they have been banned when logging onto WG from their phones and tablets . No idea why this happening , but to the best of my knowledge the last banishment occurred several months ago .

Here's what happens.  If a user gets banned, their IP addresses also get banned.  Nothing I can do about that, it's the way of the system to ensure that violator cannot get back on.

Now, most IP addresses are dhcp, meaning they rotate around different users, etc.  So, if you happen to grab one of those banned IP addresses, you'll get a message stating that you're banned.  This happens mostly on mobile devices due to their rotating nature.

The fix?  Sometimes rebooting your phone. Sometimes calling your provider and asking them to release and renew your IP address.

Hopefully this clears it up. There's absolutely nothing that I can do about it. It's happened to me before too.  I wondered why I was banned  :evil:
