Tin of sardines?  If so, sounds good, especially with a squirt of lemon juice.  I could be wrong.

From wikipedia:

The European sprat, Sprattus sprattus, also known as bristling, brisling or skipper, is a small, herring-like, marine fish. Found in European waters, it has silver ...

I'm with you. I've decided to go for a personal best - the most days eating some fish in a row. So far I'm up to seven - I'll snack a little bit of smoked salmon tonight to keep the streak going. Emergency can of sardines and one of anchovies in my desk at work.

You don't need any of that fish or fruit if you've got Screamers.

"Genesee Cream Ale - a meal in a can."

I hope you won't be too far from a restroom tomorrow morning.

Yep a tin of sardines. They are good so many ways and also very healthy.

-Just a squirt of lemon
-Dash of hot sauce
-Open the can throw in some fresh herbs and put under the boiler for a few minutes
-Squirt of lemon, diced up onion and fresh mint. Mix together and fluff up with a fork

No matter how they are prepared always served on a saltine

Do I smell (pun intended) a sardine thread to counter the steel cut oats thread?

Tom from Rochester, maybe add some Zweigle's red hots or white hots just to cover all the food groups.

The only three things I miss from WNY:  Genny Light, Zweigle's white hots, and haddock fish frys.  And the change of seasons.

Weather and taxes, not so much.

Drain the oil off the sardines, put them in a little bowl, cover them with white vinegar and let them stay a couple hours, then drain off the vinegar and eat ....

Gets rid of the oily, fishy taste that has you burping them up for the next hour.  Unless that's the part you enjoy ...

Slumming it tonight.

Boodles mulberry gin and soda's, Lamb steaks (cooked over wood fire), baked potato and fresh raspberries for desert. Then the newest love of my life, Holly (my 9 month old GSP) and I will snuggle on the couch and watch a movie.

Its been a tough couple of days.

I'd love to be able to EASILY post pictures like it used to be on WG. I have several accounts on different hosting sites and can't figure a damned one of them out.

You don't even need a hosting site anymore. Just click on  • Add image to post (right below where you type your post) and upload the photos directly from your computer. "So easy even a caveman can do it".
