Title: Dellorto PHF32 conundrum
Post by: BSABEN on August 14, 2016, 08:42:58 PM
Ok, cleaned the carbs on a recently purchased Laverda 3c. Trying to remember the choke/enrichener operation. On a PHF 32 pumper carb is the plunger in the down position for normal operation?
When I purchased the bike it would not run with the plungers down; did run with plungers up but not as well as it should. PO had put a 3 into 1 exhaust on it and I am curious if jetting is not correct but was compensated by having enriched condition (plungers up) for "normal operating".

Anyhow, my first variable is to be reminded where the plunger should be for normal / warm engine running. Educated responses appreciated

Plunger up is full choke, plunger down for normal running after start and warm up. Check idle jet and seat for cleanlyness.
