One of the PO's removed the 12-volt accessory socket from my 2007 CalVin. The harness connector and the surrounding boot are still there; but the socket and whatever mounting was used is gone.
Although there is no practical reason to do so (in fact I already I have a battery tender harness and a 12 v accessory adapter that works just fine for the same purpose), I want to restore this part of the bike to exact OEM spec.
I have ordered the parts available on the parts diagram--which include the socket, a "plate" and a screw. But I have no idea how these are supposed to be attached.
Could some CalVin owner out there (maybe other California models?) send me pics of how it is all supposed to go together? I'd appreciate it Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to reply. But, as I said, I have the parts diagram, and the three parts. The diagram does not show how the parts are attached to the bike.
