About a 18 min clip.

Yikes, I got whiplash just watching..
-
Wow that looks nothing like the 1986 rally. Thanks for sharing!
-
The road from the gas station to town is a piece of caca!😮
-
Noticed one rider ahead leaving a stoplight dragging his feet almost clear through the intersection. Bet he wears down shoe soles in a hurry.

He'll catch his toe, break an ankle and have to lay er down some day.
That was it? No nekkid wimmens? No ribaldry?
I'd 1000 times rather go to the Wisconsin rally instead.

Working on 'other' mounting beside just a helmet mount. :boozing:

Well, somebody had to do the research. A google image search for sturgis+naked was pretty entertaining, while a search for "john day" + naked got me a picture of a trout.

Pedant alert, Pedant alert .
The town of Sturgis writes tickets for nudity , and has for years . The real craziness happens in the private camp grounds . Kind of disappointing isn't it

How short-sighted. Were I mayor, we'd be selling very reasonably priced nudity licenses.

With the exception of the week before , during, and after the rally , Sturgis is a sleepy little town with small town values . Was there a few years ago in early September , there were a few Canadian and European tourists , otherwise we had the entire area to ourselves . Heck , we had to search for a bar that was open

First impressions:
Pretty flat.
Sure are a lot of stop signs.
Beverage of choice is Bud Light.
Not much protective gear in evidence.
Probably not a Hillary-friendly gathering.

My mind came to the same conclusion. My god, after an hour of that, the overblown sound of potato potato would start to give me the heaves.

I was there in '72 and said I'd never go back to that zoo. Well, on the way to John Day i took Beaver thru Sturgis as I'd already taken her to Sturgis, Miss. The place was quiet and enjoyable, not like '72. It's like going back to Sylvan Grove, KS when the Guzzi rally isn't on. A different place.
