I know I am opening up a can of worms... .My brother was up at Sturgis at the Guzzi tent. He like the MGX-21 but he rides a ultra classic. He said the one of the reps from guzzi mention a 1400 Stelvio. I corrected him but he was very attmit 1400. Has anybody else heard this rumor?

We probably won't know for sure until November's big motorycle shows.

This was mentioned on another thread IIRC.
Too bad no mention of 1400 LeMans.....but that would be easier design than a Stelvio I think.

Never thought the Stelvio needed to get bigger! Quite the opposite...

1200 to 1400 is just pistons. The engine is physically the same size on the outside.
There are ways Guzzi could design a giant trailie that would be smaller and lighter than the current Stelvio, and still use the big block engine.
I guess we'll see in November.

Nope. Just bolt the 1400 straight in, with possibly new valve covers. The 1200/1400 are identical in physical size, except for the taller (only for cosmetics) valve covers. New map for the 7SM and ride-by-wire.

I would never have guessed both engines are the same size. I was just going to post it's too large for a DS. Nevermind!

Where's a 1400 Norge with automatic cruise control! :thewife:
