Anyone have any suggestions. This was a mod I did to my previous Vulcan 900 whose light output can best be described as really crappy. The LED made a huuuuuuggggeee difference.
Anyone done this to their Breva and recommend a certain supplier or kit? I know it won't be quite as easy with the Breva and it's two bulb configuration but anything would be better I think than the stock light now.
Thanks.

Good idea, I had no idea how pricey they'd be though. http://www.ledheadlights.com/led-kits/?find=moto-guzzi-2007-breva-1100-153905

Aw Phooey, they won't ship to Canada. I'll keep on looking. Were those the bulb for the Breva or just the Hawg?

That won't fit in the Breva's headlight. There is very little clearance behind the bulbs.
I had purchased LED replacements for my Breva 1100, and neither would fit, I ended up sending them back.
You'll need something like ADVMonster's Mesh Monster familiy, or their new Rev 3. This link is for the H7 version: http://stores.advmonster.com/h7-r3-led-headlight/ (http://stores.advmonster.com/h7-r3-led-headlight/)

I have the H4 Mesh Monsters in both my V7's, both of which also have not a lot of clearance behind the reflector unit.
They do not list a mesh version of the H9.
The regular one won't work in the Breva 1100 (Sport1200) due to lack of clearance behind the bulb.

HID for me.
I already have too much blue light from my LED driving lights. That much blue light gives you too much glare. Makes street signs look bright, but since deer and such aren't blue it doesn't help much for that.

Yeah, I've kind of already figured out that LED's won't work due to the bulb depth and I'll need to go the HID route with ballast mounted behind the bucket near the tree somewhere with the just the wires themselves going into the bucket.
I'll actually need two bulbs though, a single low beam and a low/high beam correct?
