What started out as a oil leak from the belhousing that was a front trans seal leaking turned into a full engine rebuild and going through the trans. Installed new jugs and slugs, mega cycle 620X3 cam, ported and flow matched heads, shaved 1 pound from the flywheel and balanced her, & aC5 ignition. Also installed a deep spline clutch while doing the job. This old gal had me stumped a few times but my stubborn self pulled through and finally got her running correctly tonight. Off and away on her maiden voyage. Quite pleased with the results. I still need to clean up the jetting a bit and then throw on my new Mistral exhaust system then tune it in even further. It's been a long six months without one of my great loves but she's back better than ever.
Thanks to the board for a little help along the way, some truly amazing people we're blessed with hang out here and guide us when needed.
She'll be ready for the KY rally (kentucky not jelly) then off to North Carolina for a few days of fun before returning home.

At the moment I've added the battery tray and tool box decals, my wonderful DB rear fender bumper and will add pin strioes to the tank and front fender very soon. She's also sporting a pair of spot lights, now I'm actually able to see at night.
I spent crazy hours polishing the front wheel, trans, engine, and alternator belt cover.

Nice.
What seat is that? Can you post a pic or two of the seat up close? I would like to put a solo seat on the Eldo I am working on.

The seat is a cheap solo seat from ebay, very comfortable even though it has little padding. Just some very simple brackets that a cave man could make will get you mounted up and total cost about $100.00
