Not just "dirt bikers" - the vid clip at link shows a LEO shutting down a Ducati.

 Those aren't bikers , and their "stunting" abilities are seriously lacking . If they are going to shut down Time's Square , they should at least develop some skills . Geez , that was embarrassing  :laugh:

I don't know the New York newspapers, but that link is to a pretty scruffy tabloid, looks like.   You sure you can trust anything you see in that thing ... ?

It's a tabloid paper and part of the Murdoch media empire. When it was a quarter, and I ran out of doggie bags I'd buy The Post for picking up their shyte.

A couple of weeks ago I was crossing Broadway and a couple of kids were weaving in and out of traffic, not wearing any helmets and generally causing some chaos with pedestrians. This seems to be a recurring problem in the city, and I'm sure that NY's finest will soon make life miserable for everyone riding a bike.

They do seem to do the "everyone" approach when they enforce the regs. there although I've never had problems.
