Title: Generator rebuild
Post by: Jurgen on September 02, 2016, 06:39:50 PM
Who remembers a thread some time ago where a member rebuilt a generator (not alternator) because he needed to replate the housing?  I read it with great interest because I was planning to  restore a 356C and many parts need to be zinc replated, but the whole generator has to come apart.  This member published many photos of what he did and problems he ran into and some of the more modern materials he used (like insulation) during the rebuild.  I have been unable to find the link.

Many thanks if someone can lead me to the link.  Jurgen
