Title: Sunsets
Post by: jas67 on September 03, 2016, 07:17:57 PM
I took my 1966 Ducati Monza 250 for a little spin near sunset, and the sky was photo worthy.   It was much more spectacular a few minutes before, but, I had to get to a decent spot to take a pic.

Couldn't quite get both the sky and the bike exposed the way I wanted in the same pic (using my phone).

Last week when I had the V7R out at sunset, the sky wasn't nearly as nice as tonight, but, here it is for some Guzzi content in this post.

I did, but, it didn't work.   Next time, I'll take my real (DSLR) camera with me.
I've done shots like this with the DSLR and got the desired result.

Of course, this wasn't a planned photo shoot, so, I used what I had with me (phone).

You should be able to photo edit that excellent picture into submission

Please resubmit in 3 days and 57 cans of Red Bull when complete  :thumb:

Depending on your phone, you should be able to download an HDR app that would work. I use Vivid HDR on my iPhone 6 with excellent results.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give that a shot.    I tried the built-in HDR setting (iPhone 5S), but, it didn't make much of a difference.

There are no sunsets like the green flash sunsets seen from the western side of the Big Island.
