1984 Moto Guzzi Le Mans III with rare hydraulic clutch.
Price seems to be the bottom end for these bikes IMHO...

1984 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans III $6550
I have owned this Italian beauty for 3 yrs but I am expanding my Morini crew so this gorgeous 1984 Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans III needs a new home. She has fresh oil and filter and I changed fluid in the hydraulic clutch in November. She is wearing Pirelli Sport Demons front and back with less than 1000 miles on them. This bike runs and handles great and is just waiting to go on another 500 mile 3 day trip through the twisties like I did the first month I had her. Last week I rode her on a 30 mile backroads ride to an awesome breakfast.
Clean title in my name
Upgrades-
Hydraulic clutch
Fr Brake-Brembo 2 piston calipers, Magura master with SS braided lines
MSD ignition MC1 model 4200
Head guards
BUB exhaust
Tarozzi Fork brace
Oil Sump expander with external oil filter
All the mods were done by the prior owner several yrs ago and make the bike better to ride and maintain than stock. I do have the box he gave me with 1 original brake caliper, the original front fairing, 2 turn signals, spare gasket set and rear drive cushions. Those will go with the buyer.

Buyer is responsible for pickup. Bike is sold as-is and where-is.

Just repack the Bubs once in awhile and hear the glory...

Sharp!
What's the hydraulic clutch upgrade? Is that to replace the cable, or is there something else bigger involved in this upgrade?

I know the owner, but not the bike. Owner is a great guy and very meticulous in preparation of his bikes.

What happened to Chuck's Sticky about CL bikes?? One of the more useful (and costly) sticky that we've had!

Luap or a moderator will have to say for sure, but it does seem to have fallen off in the latest pruning of sticky lists - only six just now.

I thought it was a very helpful Sticky that appealed to Guzzi people everywhere, a useful utility.
I really appreciated Chuck going to all the trouble to sniff these things out.

I liked it as a sticky too...

I really like these threads, but I wish you guys would post a SCREEN SHOT of the ad in addition to the link. The second the bike sells, or after 30 days, the ad is gone and then the thread is pretty pointless. :violent1:

It's still around, and even on page one. All you have to do is look for it. <shrug>

Good idea. I just updated this thread.

In reference to why the sticky was removed. I just think that too many stickies are redundant and we have to have a fence at some point, otherwise all of page 1 could easily be nothing but stickies.
Perhaps we could sticky the CL thread in the Swap Meet section and you could click the "Notify" button and you'd be emailed when a new post is added into that topic.
Just a thought. I just like a cleaner look is all.
