Title: Handle Bars
Post by: Dean Rose on September 21, 2016, 09:31:06 AM
Anybody know of an aftermarket set of handle bars that be similar to the stock Jackal bars for my '02 EV.
I can't find any Jackal bars for sale.

Thanks,

Dean

Dean , look for something similar to a flat track bend .

Hey Dean- I am in a similar situation. I am looking for a set of Bassa handlebars to put on my Jackal, but none seem to be available that are not bent or rusted.

I'll have some for you momentarily. I've got a pair of buckhorns sposed to land today. Soon's I can find an opportunity to swap them out, you can have the old ones. They're black, and they're too far forward for me. Here's a pic:

Hi Dean, any of the ATV handlebars will work. I have a set of Yamaha banshee bars on my cal II , and the work/fit great, and are inexpensive. You can get them in a flat track bend, CR bend etc. I got mine from rocky mountan atv. they are 7/8 seven eights diameter, and work perfect on the Guzzis.

Jackal bars are 18 MM , not a straight swap .

So what I discover as I go along is, I'm an idjut. I dialed in 200 Guzzi Jackal in the Dennis Kirk on line catalog --- it listed a selection of 1" bars, so I ordered one. Turns out their on line catalog not only lists the wrong diameter, but their specs all round don't match manufacturer specs. I pick one out of Emgo's catalog, for instance, tells me 10" pullback, Kirk tells me the same model is 6 1/2" pullback. That catalog is funky.

Bottom line: It will be a while before I can swap out and send you the Jackal bars. Sorry.

.....

Here's a question somebody might know

I'm thinking of moving to tubular bars on my B11 and know that one of the good options is the switch to Mana bars.

Mana bars are about £130 from Aprilia while Renthals are about £40

Which of those bars in Penderics picture is the closest to a Mana set of bars so I can go down the Renthal route and save some petrol tokens

Cheers
