My brother just picked this beautiful T3 that was lovingly taken care of. Good thing he built a shed to store more bikes in, his garage was getting full.
So much for taking the pair of Nortons to Barber...

:thumb: Some longer shocks and he'll be ready to roll.

I suspect those are getting ordered on Monday.
He's already removed the handlebar extenders and moved the ignition switch back to the stock location.

He should have fun. :thumb:

Lucky guy!

Center stand doesn't work very well with the shorter shocks. So they are definitely going.

Now that to me looks like the later G5 two part springs in the front...there is just a touch more fork showing than original t3....maybe, sorta...if it is, it makes the center stand not work, until the forks are raised up in the triple...original t3 almost looks short between the fender and the lower triple
So many roads, so little time

Would that be considered your bike-in-law? Congrats to your brother on a nice looking T3. :thumb:

I don't know but I will get to ride it in about a week and a half.

In a previous thread it was confirmed that the front end wasn't touched. The fork rubbers maybe making it look different. The rear shocks are an inch shorter at 11.75in.

I stuck some shocks off a Jackal on my '80 SP. Same frame as a T3 IIRC. Kept the center stand and rarely use the kickstand. I adjusted the shocks so that the springs are at the lowest adjustment. Still works with my weight and gear loaded for touring. 5'8" 150lbs. I can deploy the center stand while astride the bike. The stock side stand is wimpy and has auto retract.
