Monthly meeting of the Gezzers and gezzer wannabe's.
7:30 we wander into the Denny's at I-17 and Bell road (south west corner) for vittles, coffee & conversation.

I have dietary restrictions starting Sunday am so coffee and juice only for me.
Sigh..... JJ, are you going to make a trip down from the mount and grace us with your presence? We seem to be needing some pontification.

Now I gotta really think about whether I want to get up and leave Las Vegas at 3:15 in the morning! :coffee:

I'll be there. Afterwards I'm heading to the motorcycle swap at Big Surf.

How can you be on any dietary restrictions at 160 lbs.?!? What's wrong?
No, I cannot make it as we are out of town this Sunday... (Pontification and Bloviation indeed!!)     I am sure The Grand Poo-Bah and many others can fill in nicely for me!

Colon inspection Monday. Grand Poohbah wants it confirmed that I'm a perfect ass. Hopefully I get a clean bill of health. They are not fun to prep for.

Some Dr.s say that's totally not needed. I haven't done it yet. Just give them a poop sample. I've read some patients have died doing that procedure.

They have a newer procedure for the a$$ cam. You swallow it. It records as it travels through the body. You recover it and give it back to them. My question is "How do you prep it to reuse it?"

It was a risk to your life here in Las Vegas for a number of years - and they've spent the best part of the last five trying to put the quack responsible in jail for good. He claims he can't be jailed due to age-related dementia, but he was apparently still able to drive his Mercedes (when he thinks no one's looking).

My luck they would leave the lens cap on....

Thanks for the warning. Hopefully we'll be straightened up by then. But don't hold your breath. :boozing:

Colon cancer is one of the top killer of men...over 60. I had a colonoscopy a few years ago...no polyps found, so good for another 5 years!
Was hesitant to do the procedure for all the reasons / risks everyone mentioned, (like a perforated colon wall - and death by internal bleeding!!) until my doctor said: "If you come to me and your rectum is bleeding...it is usually too late..."  - - That did it for me!
