Title: Shock Eye Bushing

Seeking a press in bushing to replace those in the bottom eyes of my V7 Sport shocks.

I did this a few years ago on another one but for the life of me cannot recall where I got them and Rick (MG) and I did the Tango yesterday trying to figure it out.
Don't think an Ikon is going to work but if it would I'm all ears.

  I would just go to my lathe and make one.
 Or, just get a piece of round stock of the right size or a tiny bit bigger, drill a hole of the right size and chuck it into a drill press and work a file against it until it fits.

They are easy to make but if you don't have the means to do that you can buy all sorts of small metal bushings at McMaster-Carr.  Steel, bronze etc.  You might even find a piece of stainless hydraulic tubing or some other type of tubing at an auto parts store or hardware store that can be cut to length and used as a shock bushing.

The 76 series shock used on the V7 Sport has a rubber encased metal bushing like this:

IIRC, when I rebuilt a set of original V7 Sport shocks, the bushings I used were for Koni/Ikon 7610 series shocks. MG Cycle has two different sizes, I don't remember what the size was I used. I still have one bushing left from the ones I bought and can measure it in the morning if that will help.

Charlie, I did have Gordon send me a pair of those.  Nicely done.

I'm thinking of doing my own but for now found a usable pair.  One of my partners in crime is a machinist and likes one-off stuff so he'll get the nod when it's time.
