That one was in another thread about a week or so back with a more usual price, and a more complete description in the ad.

It's one of the 2002s that got sold as a 2003. 2002 was the last year with the tank pad (and external fuel pump). Some had bad engine paint. It's probably one of the least desirable models in the V11 Sport series - but still a fine motorcycle.
If I was within 200 miles (not 2,000), and assuming it's legitimate, it would already be in my garage and getting cleaned up for resale at 3,500.
Sometimes people actually just need money in a hurry.

What's stopping you from replying to the email...it's safe enough....ask for a phone number (that will weed out many fakes) and call the guy....then go see it and if it is what it is...buy it.....don't tell you wife until she's in a great mood....maybe at dinner out.
That's a lot of bike for 1700

It's not mine!!
That's what's wrong with it.
That's on the bucket list. . . I'd prefer a greenie, but that would do.

Just to clarify, I'm not personally interested in buying this, just posting in the event someone on the left coast is looking. It could be an incredible buy ( but aren't all Guzzis incredible).
