A friend of mine bought it yesterday. The seller just hasn't removed the listing.

Anyone looking for a '78 Convert in the same price range? A gentleman emailed me about fixing some leaks on his and decided it wasn't worth it after all. He now wants to sell it, asking $1100-1200 but is negotiable. Runs and rides, just leaks. It's in New Hampshire, but he "regularly travels up and down the east coast" so delivery is possible.
Doesn't look too bad.

^ Nice one, very unmolested too. I thought leaks were just part of owning vintage Guzzis.. at least that's what I tell my garage floor. It's not?

Looks are fair to good from the pix. What kind of leaks and where? Where in New Hampshire?

All the owner has told me is: "the bike runs and drives but has two slow leaks one in the engine and one in the transmission, both related to gasket failure". May not take much at all to fix or it could require pulling the transmission.
I didn't ask where in NH.

OK, thanks. A possible fly-n-ride if the national is back east somewhere.
