It's about time for some spy shots of what will pop up in November at the big motorcycle show in Germany. Has anyone been able to peek under the tent? Maybe a 900 Stelvio?

Was at Agostini today and they say rumors of a new V7 (III maybe) much faster, more horse power. Nothing yet about a V9 sport bike.

INTERMOT, in Germany, was last week. Guzzi's big announcement was "Audace Carbon". A California Audace with some of the carbon bits, and others, from the MGX-21.

EICMA will be in Milan, 10-13 November. Hopefully that will be where the big releases happen for the Italian brands.

Yes, it appears the V7 line will be getting the new heads from the V9. And the Racer may become a V9:

If they were smart, they'd put it in 850 LeMans paint and call it .......wait for it....... the 850 LeMans.

It was announced that there will be a big mc show in Stuttgart in Feb. All things there might be old news when it happens.
But, I can still go😁

Breaking!!
New spy teaser photo released.

Cant make out which model.

It would be nice to see something like this :thumb: :

Man, I'd love to see them build something like that.
I'm hoping the rumors come to fruition and Guzzi unveils a V9 Stelvio styled bike.

BMW is supposed to have four new "somethings" on the podium in Milan:

OK, I'll play along, and pick the low-hanging fruit.
Moto Guzzi are going to announce the V7-III, using a 749cc version of the V9 engine, and the 849cc version in the replacement for the V7 Racer, which, hopefully will be an 850 Le Mans!
They'll likely announce new colors for the V9, and, maybe another variant of the Cali 1400.

One of the best looking Guzzis ever!
-
JJ, Surely the expected V9 Racer is the Guzzi R9T equivalent, add a bikini fairing and ohlins or other high end suspension and Guzzi would have a Thruxton sport/ RNineT Racer equivalent.
-
Not without a proper chassis and a load more power.

As much as I like Guzzi small blocks, I have to agree.
-
The boys in Mandello are running out of time if they want to keep me in the famiglia
-
The best thing out of this show are the models "showing" the bikes.
Looking forward to this year's pictures.

What does the expected / concept V9 Racer look like again?
I found this one online...V7II "Sport Vintage" :1: :thumb:

A couple of interesting bikes being premiered at EICMA this year. Husqvarnia's White and Black Arrows, Ducati's two new scrambler models and MG's VIII. Exciting...
-
One week away. I hope Guzzi has something new and exciting in the 1200cc category on the podium.
-
If they were smart, they'd put it in 850 LeMans paint and call it .......wait for it....... the 850 LeMans.
A new 850 Lemans, a pathetic cosmetic tribute to the original bike that at the time went head to head with the Ducati Superbike of the time yes they should totally do that. It will be way too much of a rack for the people that remember the original to actually buy it and the current gen will ignore it as they will see it for what it is. I hope Guzzi does turn up with something genuinely new maybe with radiators or hybrid drive or more than two cylinders or less that two cylinders, instead of simply putting some parts in a bin rattling it a bit and seeing what falls out.
-
All,
Took a look around the web, motorcycle shows, rumors and such. Couldn't find anything really new for Moto Guzzi in 2017. Am I missing something or are the guys in Mandello just secretive, slow, or asleep?
Pining for that V9 engine in a Classic type frame in Tenni green I guess. Twin dials. More V7 type tank. Or some confirmation on a V7 III?
V7R will get a long run next few days. Still summer here. Hoping for fall.
How about those Cubs?
-
Where is the V7R running off to the next few days?

The MGX-21 Flying Fortress is about as significant as a mfg can get. A sport touring bagger! Perfect for where I live. Eat the miles to get to the twisties then be able to enjoy'em! Every so often a mfg does something unexpected. This time it's Guzzi! And the beauty of it is that it's not for everybody thank goodness! Beaten paths are for beaten men. .😀👍

You're about a week early with your question. EICMA is where most 2017 news that isn't already out will be out.

Ok, thanks, standing by. Hoping the V7 III is a winner. Racer as a V9 would be cool, maybe.
Yeah the MGX is quite a bagger, saw one in Houston at our dealer a while back. They sold it quickly.
My well broken in V7R and I will go NW somewhere around Brenham, TX. Need to watch WX as mild front coming in. Could be soggy.
LOTS of bikes on road headed to Galveston for the big Rally. So, not considering anywhere on coast.

I don't know, the V7 Racer would be more my thing if it's a brushed aluminium tank rather than the chrome of the current version, whilst I like it always way to much bling for me.
Having said that I do like the V9 X Track, that's something I would definitely look forward to taking a demo ride on
-
Thanks Rocker59 but I was being sarcastic. Miffed that we only see tweaks to the V7 with no 850cc .

I don't know about aluminum, but, it is a brushed looking finish:

No, no, I beg not. Guzzi is the last maker to hold out with Heron heads, which are actually good for real-world riding, and not the max rpm redline reviews from the magazines.
Guzzi, hold firm and don't cave in to the unknowing masses.

My friend rode a V9 Bobber and loved the torque...he has a V7R

Why do you think it is going to change the nature THAT much?
People who have ridden the V9 (and own the V7) have been overwhelmingly positive about the V9 motor.

Just came back from my day at EICMA show in Milano.
I want an Eldorado and a V7 please.

Bugger!

True. Nothing to much, but I do think the v7III line looks really good this year, that Blue one is drop dead pretty. Bumping the motor up to 52hp, might be bigger than it seems as well.
The v9 series is rated at 55hp at the crank, but is constantly putting out 50-52 hp on published dyno runs. Perhaps the v7III will punch in the mid to high 40s at the wheel.
I sure hope they bring out some 1200ish size bikes soon, the small blocks are just too small for me, and I'm not ready for a 1400!
