Hey guys. Just got my tags and insurance on my 07 Calvin. Got the new rifle shield and took care of all the helmet buffing. Now the only issue is the wind coming under the shield that hits me directly in the face. I can put my feet in the position where fork lowers would be and get perfect calm on my entir upper body. I know some of my fellow guzzi brothers are saying what a puss, LOL, and I won't try to defend myself I've just always rode behind a shield that I look through. Anyone out there with a Calvin that can offer advise, please do As I really love this mechine!

I guess I should have said that I can't find any company who offers fork lowers for the Moto guzzi Calvin

I got some Memphis Shades lowers for a Starr cruiser and they did the trick. Got rid of the buffeting. Don't know if they make them for a CalVin but worth a look.

Problem is that the smallest mounts offered is 63-68 mm due to all the bikes they offer deflectors for have a. Over over the fork. The MG does not have that cover and the tube the mount has to go in is 45mm :(

Ncdan- make your own. I made a set using some stuff I got from the local hardware store-adel clamps, nuts and bolts, some lexan/plexi. Make them to custom fit your needs. It is simple. They are cheap. They work great. If you are interested p.m. me with your email and I will send you a couple of photos of what I have done.

I spoke with Dennis at Rifle shields this evening. He did some research and could that they offer fork lowers of the California EV bikes which have the same size forks as the Calvin, 45mm. He said there was a note that these lowers would fit the forks However there would be issues with the running lights and the crash bars. There may be a way to modify these to make them work. Thoughts? It's a shame these companies does not give Moto guzzi the respect to be included in their products.

Rifle lowers worked great on my EV. BUT I recall hinting they wouldn't work on a CalVin -- and modification seemed out of the question due to the build of the Rifle pieces.
Good luck with your search. Lowers make a big difference with the Cal series.
Best,
