Fellow Geese:  Thank you. I was able to track down a thread that already dealt with my issue. But, I took some great pics so I thought I would share.

Dry above the starter.....

Remove starter.....

Probable culprit....

That line goes down to the crankcase....

Remove line.....

While removing that I noted the remaining hose was quite loose down into the protective sleeve. I removed the protective sleeve and found the same issue as Sib:  the single use hose clamp wasn't actually clamping anything. I was able to remove it quite easily without breaking the clamp....

Check to ensure the factory installed the one way valve correctly (they did):

So, I'm off to the parts store for three hose clamps now.
