Isn't it about time for the annual rally at scotts ferry in the Florida panhandle? Or am I jumping the gun on the official announcement?

Makin' it?
Well.....since I'm skipping the Swamp Scooters' rally, it has crossed my mind. (http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s180/ndicroce/emoticons/TFR99.gif) (http://s152.photobucket.com/user/ndicroce/media/emoticons/TFR99.gif.html)

I'm flying to NW Florida from Italy next month; plan on staying there a couple weeks or so to take care of a few things. I should be able to drop in for at least one of the rally days, time permitting...I'll probably be riding my '72 Eldo, which is currently at my parent's home.
Been awhile since I was last at a FL Guzzi gathering...last one was Coonbottom circa '00...

I just checked with a BMW poverty rider point of contact. The rally is on! Sure haven't seen much Guzzi interest about this gathering. Hope to see a good turn out. Let us know if you're planning to attend. I'll be there with two buddies.

heading to the Cajun rally on Monday. Picking up Mac D in the Catskills and heading south to Lafayette. After that may head into TX to ride the hill country, then on to the Poverty Riders in Scotts Ferry. Looking forward to getting away.

Probably won't make it this go around; have a lot going on and still trying to dial in this setup on the Eldo:

Not many Guzzi riders showed up despite perfect camping weather. Thurs had huge bon fire and rowdy bunch of Beemers until 3AM. Friday night population doubled but it was very tame and quiet.
Congrats to the Poverty Riders for good food, beer, booze and big camp fire. Gonna be cold tonight.
