Title: 3rd Addition to our Growing Guzzi Family Custom 96 Cali

Just picked up a 1996 California 1100 Fuel injected, has some nice home made touches to it, run great pulls like the tractor it is.  Really happy with it.  Most of our collection are bone stock survivors, so it will be fun having one I can tweak and play with!

You must have lots of life insurance on you for Debbie to tolerate that.   :thewife:

OTOH, as she rides, mebbe most are hers! 

As for the newest one, I am pretty ignorant of the various models over the years, but did not know that the '96 Calis came from a solo disc on the front.  As modded, it looks like a Jackal ... especially in that really fine and fast red.   :grin:

I joke only two of the bikes are mine, Deb has it as bad as me if not worse.  We have no filter in our house.

Yes the bike has been heavily modded.  It does look a lot like a Jakel!

Curt, I've sold all of my Guzzis and am even down to one bike only.  You of all people  :laugh: :grin: understand what a grave tragedy this is.  I may need to come out occasionally and rent a Guzzi from you for the day just to quelle the empty feeling  :thumb:

This set up came with the bike, someone told me they thought it looked like a Ned's seat (Riverside Iowa), they have a Facebook page.  Haven't confirmed.

Love my 1400 touring also!  Yes the RD400 was very hard to let go of, the guy ask me for my don't want to sell it price and he came up with it!  Was a fun fun bike.  Still have a 250 and 125 though  :laugh:

All licensed, running and Insured sorry!  I am blessed with a woman you gets it, preservation vs restoration.  Clean em up best we can, make em mechanically sound, license, insure and RIDE EM!!

That last comment got me thinking, and just to be clear I certainly hope this thread didin't come off as bragging or showing off, that certainly was not my intent.  I love looking at everybody else's rides and pictures.  I feel blessed that I have a wife that enjoys this with me.

I love sharing our passion and collection with other like minded enthusiast, that's all.

If it feels otherwise let me know and I'll delete it, I don't want to be THAT GUY  :thumb:
