Every year, around this time, with a mix of resignation and wistfulness, I get ready to lay the bikes up for the winter.
I wrote a little ode to the process on my motoblog a few years ago, and share it each fall. It's kinda like a bedtime story, only for motorbikes.

Of course here in Vancouver my bikes don't get put to bed I'm glad to say.
