I guess Rossi could not swim fast enough thru all the rain at PI.

Nicky qualified 7th, Lorenzo 12th, and Rossi 15th. That was the most exciting qualifying I can ever remember. It was so close I couldn't keep track of who was finishing where. The race watch is tomorrow night for us on the west side of the country.

I was up watching it. Nicky qual'd that bike about as well as Pedrosa has. MM is in a race of his own.

7 riders were fighting for 7th place when Nicky got bumped by Jack Miller 2 laps from the end.

So somebody explain to me why they hold races during the rainy season? MotoGP, WSBK, F1, all of them go to these exotic places at exactly the times of year when the monsoons are rolling in!

yeah, Nicky got screwed.

Did you guys watch the Moto 3 race? There musta been 60 bikes on the grid! Only 24 made the restart so many crashed out. It was like Rollerderby. To win first you have to finish.

I don't know. but they reported something like 38,000 in attendance at PI.. when they race in Spain or Italy the crowd is well over 100,000.. what's with that?
also happy to see Suzuki can compete..

During qualifying it was cold and wet. But come race day it stayed mostly sunny and warmer. :thumb:

Fantastic Race. I was totally entertained.
The Parc Ferme celebrations were great...the three guys had the ride of their lives and soaked it all in.

From Phillip Island any time of the year can be rainy season, only Tassie is between there and Antarctica! That's not a bad crowd for Australian racing...
