Title: Prices on new 2015 v7 special
Post by: jguzzi on October 30, 2016, 12:07:43 PM
Can anyone offer info on what a good price would be on a new 2015 v7 special, black/orange?   Dealer asking 7699 which seems high to other ones and no Guzzi incentives now, no customer cash, etc according to website.  Thanks.

I imagine this time of year the dealer would be willing to kick in something at least, I know my dealer Scoot Richmond in Richmond Va adds in a discount to the factory ones.  That price sounds discounted from the original MSRP, isn't that so?

That number is what we'd pay in £s for a 2016 bike over here.

Moto International has a silver/black one for 7K! http://www.motointernational.com/catalog/moto-guzzi/2015-moto-guzzi-v7-special (http://www.motointernational.com/catalog/moto-guzzi/2015-moto-guzzi-v7-special)  :bike-037:

You may be able to get a little better deal by waiting a bit more when the north has some snow.........

There's a red V7II selling about 30 miles from my house for $6900.  If I hadn't spent all than money on my Nevada, I'd consider it as I paid trade in price on the Nevada.  Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

I know you guys are cheap bastids, but a few short years ago MSRP on the smallblocks equaled less than $500 in dealer markup.

I'm just saying...

Exactly why I didn't try bending anyone over a barrel on the last few purchases...

I know Phil over at Cleveland Moto has one. I have no idea about the price, but I did see it there this past weekend. I'm also aware that sale prices vary depending on model years. Although it does not make any sense to me, Guzzi seems to pick and choose which models and years get price reductions, and even then, those incentives will vary by model year.

As an aside, I will say that the Black/Orange is a ***really, really*** good looking paint scheme!

Was the Black/Orange even offered in 2015?    I thought only the Silver/Dark Grey carried over from 2014 to 2015, and was joined one or more of the colors that carried over the V7-II (Red/White, Blue/White).

Good question. I don't know, but according to his first post, he is looking at a '15 Black?Orange.

All I can say is there is a new Black/Orange in Mentor Ohio.
