Hi all,
I'm interested to know what is the most cost-effective and easy way to improve the braking performance of the V7II.
If someone has some experience with that - any opinion would be greatly appreciated.

1) EBC HH pads.
2) a Brembo "Snowflake" rotor. (Takeoffs from Ducatis available on Ebay)
3) a Brembo radial master cylinder. (Takeoffs from Ducatis in several versions available on Ebay).
Like anything performance, you can spend a lot of money for small gains. Start with the brake pads and see what you think.

Yes.
Improvements in modulation, feel, and reduced effort.
Lots of shitty brake setups can lock a wheel. That's not a sign of a good braking system.

I doubt you will see much improvement on a v7ii as the abs kicks in Long before the brakes will lock up
Last few v7ii's I have ridden have had enough brake force to make the forks feel like they are starting to twist!

Can you turn the ABS off on the V7II?
I could on the C1400.
If you have some experience with riding bikes not equipped with ABS you may want to turn it off.
Personally I'm not a fan of ABS and my Victory brakes work much better with it turned off.
Find an abandoned shopping center with a big parking lot & try it.

EBC pads are scarce here (Israel).
My mechanic recommended getting Brembo 07BB19SA Sintered Street pads.
I will start with those tomorrow and see what happens.
Todd's site doesn't specify the caliper's model #. Any clue what that's number is? Probably can get them in Milano (going to EICMA, yay!)

Those pads should be a good start.
Just refer to them as the "4-pad caliper from the Ducati 998", and I'm sure they'll know what you're talking about.

They have one pad per pot.

Can you turn the ABS off on the V7II?
I could on the C1400.
You can't. Only MGCT (ASR, TCS etc.) can be with the starter button.
