Ha! All the prep and procedures for starting a 3350 is time consuming and...well...compli cated!!

No worries , stood behind the FE more than once during start up on a KC97 , didn't look all that hard :laugh:

Concerning Soviet reverse engineering, I have read (maybe an urban myth) the first one done included dents and all from the captured B-29 because Stalin wanted it "copied".
