Sorry to cross the line but I've had a posting in the swap meet that isn't seeing much activity so I thought I'd try over here as others do from time to time. Maybe people go to the swap meet only if they're looking for something.
I would like to find a clean, well cared for Le Mans 1000, IV or V. I'm willing to pay a fair price for the right bike. I also would consider trading my 850T/V7 Sport clone.
Thanks,
Steve M

There's a LM-V on eBay right now. Price seems "reasonable" IMO.

(I have no affiliation with the seller, just noticed it the other day)

Yes, I've seen that one and contacted the owner. It has an oil leak, sounds like a rear main seal, oil leaks down on the drain plug. Not a huge deal but a lot of work. The thing is that the owner is not a Guzzi enthusiast and I'd much rather buy from someone who knows and appreciates what they have. I've owned Guzzi's since the late 70's and have brought bikes across the country from fellow MGNOC members and NEVER had a bad experience. Ebay and Craigslist have changed all that.
