Guess I'll go to fleet farm and buy 10lb pail for $20.
More tree-hugger laws, eh. :thewife:

Probably because too many people were feeding them to friends and relatives for fun and profit.

Yep , doubt if "tree huggers" had much to do with it , besides , traps work better , no stinky rat carcasses stuck in walls or under your house .

Would you like those to go, or eat them here. Rodney Dangerfield

do you really have a rat problem? I can't even catch a little mouse in my garage..
-
I went the natural route and borrowed my girlfriend's cat.

I use the 'blocks'. Mice won't carry them off for other animals to get to them like they did the little pieces. Packrats take them into their nest, which is also good for where I live.
And for mice they make little plastic containers so you can put the poison inside.

I use peanut butter scented glue boards....catches spiders and mice

There is some kind of popular drug prescribed for blood thinning that is basically the same thing as DCon as I am told by my medical friends.
Can you just get a prescription?

I put a tray full of those pellets in my basement every winter. Last winter, an entire tray was emptied one night. I refilled it the following day, and that was quickly emptied. I figured I had some kind of super rat in my basement, so I put out some spring loaded rat traps. The next morning, I caught a regular sized mouse, and that was the end of that.
When spring came, I went to roll out my bicycle from the basement and noticed a huge trail of deacon all the way up the stairs. That little bugger emptied the trays and somehow climbed my bike and stashed the pellets away in the under seat bag I accidentally left open!

I figured they would, so I put mesh screens over the snorkels.
