Lots of good ones on here...makes you want to get out and ride more!

Sadly I've only ridden 9 of the ones listed. I ride the gladetop in Missouri often. It's wonderful but it's gravel.
-
I've only been on 8, but, I agree their list isn't that great.
Turquoise Trail in NM? Many other prettier roads in the state. Las Vegas strip? Really? I think someone's tourist bureau was at work here.

Thanks for posting!

I was thinking that too. Plenty of places I'd rather ride in Nevada rather than the vegas strip

Great article...I have ridden a few of these...but lately...so little time and money!
-
I've always said, I've been everywhere, man.. but I haven't been on 18 of those.

I've ridden about half of these roads at one time or another in the last 25 or 30 years. While I agree with some of their selections, they have a definition of scenic that doesn't line up with my own.
Lake Shore Drive and the Strip (I know, I live here) are not scenic in my view. St Charles in New Orleans is scenic, but not for driving. You walk it, chat with people, stop on the corner for a po'boy, but it's not a scenic drive.
There are any number of roads I'd choose above the ones I do know, whether as motorcycle roads or just plain scenic by any standard. Going to the Sun comes to mind, as do the Umpqua Trail (Crater Lake to the coast), Hwy 242 in central Oregon west of Sisters, the Olympia peninsula, the Lolo Pass, stretches of 89 throughout the west, and many many more.

Only been on 13, I really need to get east of the Dakota / New Mexico line.
-
I counted maybe 16. I was either on that exact road or close enough that I could've-should've been.
-
They just listed all the states, that's all. :cheesy:
-
I have ridden 28 of the 48 states in my life. Could not tell you what roads, way to many miles, all good ones though.
-
sigh...
Even reputable news outlets (and, I'd include Road & Track as reputable) have taken this route: The List. You've got to click through fifty photographs, which gives the web site fifty chances to show you a different advertisement (for which they are paid). The content is easily found without any effort, and hardly matters to them, in any case.
It's not likely that the drivers at Road & Track really think the Vegas strip is one of the top Roads in Clark County, let alone all of Nevada. They had nothing to do with this.
It's actually better that the list be poorly done; it generates even more views that way. Sigh...
Better to ask wildguzzi.com for the best roads in Nevada. There are many good ones to choose from.

I haven't ridden any of them and am now gratefully accepting donations towards my next motorcycle trip.
