What a great shot!  My guess is that it's from an approaching spacecraft close for docking.  Another live stream site from the International Space Station:   http://www.ustream.tv/channel/live-iss-stream

Just came back from a couple of days at the Kennedy Space Center with two of my sons so am revved about space!

Truey awesome!  He or she is still out there working.  Some great views of our little blue marble, and cool video selfie (never thought I'd say those words) of the astronaut a few minutes ago.  Thanks for sharing!

THANKS FOR POSTING..! I'm glued to it. What are they doing? it's like a very long space walk, he's been out there all day it seems..
I figured this out now, they go into the dark every 45 minutes (one lap around is 90 min) during that time they replay video from past that is in daylight so it looked like they were out there all day - it was just replays.

Edit: I guess the space walking is over now..that was fascinating!

When you think about it, it is mind boggling. I am sitting here in my recliner in the middle of rural Kansas watching mother earth go by live. Think about that! It is not like being there but not long ago the earth was flat. What a time to live!

I've been watching off and on since this morning.. I keep seeing the same video over and over and now am skeptical that it ever shows a live pic even tho it says live all the time.. they should stamp the time on it or reveal when it's reruns...

Maybe the other space probes could put on a show during those slow bits.

Lots of channels to surf.

I LOVE watching the foil-hatters go into a tizzy whenever the live feed drops after a "mysterious object" is sighted.

Cracks me right the hell up  - every time!

NOTE, you can go to the settings button and bump image to HD..

I don't think there has been any LIVE pictures, I've been watching all weekend and see the same video over and over again.. they should take the live symbol down until it is really live. Kinda disappointing.

Foil hatters my foot. NASA always drops the live feed when a UFO show up. They do not want to tell us the truth. Google astronaut quotes on UFO's. There are more than a dozen of them, the most interesting being an Apollo mission to the moon with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. One of the most famous classified story on UFO's.

The tether incident is very famous. Taken in the days when NASA did not censor video. The US space ship had infrared, ultraviolet and visible spectrum cameras on board. Nothing is seen in visible or infrared light. Then they switched to ultraviolet light and whaddya know. Lots and lots of UFO's. One estimated at over 2 miles in diameter. One heck of a piece of film.

so they took down the live feed because a flying saucer was hovering in the shot?

Yep , looked like a Vulcan ship to me , and if you study history , the Klingons had a bit of trouble in Broken Bow Oklahoma leading to all sorts of fun

They have taken down the live feed repeatedly when a UFO show up. Every astronaut that has gone into space for the US has reported one or more UFO's following them. Every single one. And no Klingons too.
I believe it was Astronaut Mitchell that showed up in a John Podesta email saying that it was time for the government to come clean with the UFO phenomenon. Those who don't yet accept the ET presence are the real tin foil hatters. Good grief. This is not some pie in the sky, lala land opinion here.
Another great source for UFO sightings is the hundreds of reports made by pilots. Hundreds of them. I consider pilots to be pretty truthful sources. Pretty sane people. They do not BS.

Here is the story of the Neil Armstrong/Buzz Aldrin lunar landing. To paraphrase, they landed and Armstrong got out to take a first look around. There were 2 communication channels on board. One for public consumption and one for private/medical issues. Armstrong switched to the private channel and said - They're here and their ships are enormous. Their huge ships ringed the crater where we had landed. That, fellow Guzzistas, is a true story and one of the most famous "for your ears only"  stories that NASA has tried to hide from us.
