Title: LeMans 5 Front Indicator Parts Availability
Post by: MikeW on November 24, 2016, 08:08:22 PM
Hi Guys,

Just wondering if the rubber stems for the front indicators on the LeMans 5 are still available anywhere.

I've had no luck finding them.

You'd have to find some nos hidden in someone's garage or tucked away in a dealership.  Ozone kills them.

If anyone has an original (intact or not), maybe Clauss Studios could make reproductions.

I have one that is cracked.  The signal part that connects to the rubber spacer is also not to be found.  If someone had any I would be a happy buyer.

They cracked and fell apart on Strada and LM V.

Is this the "signal part" you're looking for?

After a bit of research it looks like the Ducati 750 F1 uses the same indicators front and back.

I do believe it is.  I see they may also have one of the mirrors I need for my LM5.

Looks like this guy is not that far from me.  I will give him a call and see what it would cost to make some of these.

I ordered turn signals and mirror from these guys.  I will Clauss and see if they are interested in reproducing the rubber parts. I think the front are shorter than the rear but will check.  How much demand do you think there is for these parts?

Hard to tell. If the stalk was just for the LM 5, probably not much, but if the same part is used on other Guzzi models and Ducatis too, then there would be more demand.

IIRC Cali III had them too.
