Hi guys, Well it's been a couple of years but I'm a Guzzi owner again (for the eighth time) I just picked up my new V7 Stornello today. Looking forward to renew old acquaintances again. As for the bike after riding it 30 miles home it rides like a buck board on certain road like tar stripe type roads. There is rear spring preload adjustment so I'll have to see if they're set too soft or too hard. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.

Congrats. The new Stornello got me back in the fold again too. I'm sure you will love the bike, such a natural riding machine.

Hi Warren! Hope to see you in Daytona for Bike Week. As for the suspension, I think you will find that the only solution is new shocks with springs set for your weight. My V7 Special would actually launch my ass off the seat until I changed the shocks. The OEM shocks were over sprung to mask crappy valving. Now she rides much better, money well spent.

SUCKER - that serves you right for believing the rubbish we all spout on this forum
Only joking, I'm sure you'll love it and don't be afraid to shout for guidance if you need to

Cool Bike !! Congrats and glad you are back on a Guzzi!

Why'd you leave?
Well you guys did not like me
No really I had a DVT, was put on Coumadin. I thought at the time that's not a good mix.
Then my wife got a a serious brain tumor, one in which there is no cure. Ginger is still with me after 2 years. She is a walking Miracle. But its growing for the 3rd time and that made me realize life is way to short. I need to follow my passion. She just says don't die before her.
I bought a Honda ST1100 for $1000 drove it home and have been on it these past 2 years. but It's not a Guzzi
Picked up Simon's yesterday and today Snow dang it

Good to hear from you once again Peter. I'd like to ride to Daytona just for a Pizza and fellowship but wifey won't let me ride alone. Thinks I'm too old and senile to find Fla I guess. Yes shocks and fork kits are on the way.
