Just about anywhere on the south side is good. Franklin would be my first choice.

Lots of great riding to the east.

Alabama and Auburn play today at 2:30 so traffic may be a bit congested.

Hi,

I live in a small town  called Pulaski, TN about 75 miles south of Nashville. There are 3 Guzzi's in Pulaski:'86 Lemans, '98 EV and 07' Breva. All 3 belong to me...so sad to say I mostly ride alone

Not sure that this would encourage the OP but there are several hooligans within an hour of your location in Middle Tennessee. An impromptu gathering in Mont Eagle at an oasis for Nylon tanked Guzzi.

Looks like a cool crowd.....PM me sometimes and perhaps we can take a ride. 129 out of Lynnville >Lynchburg>Mt Eagle>Paint Rock, AL>Curly Putnam Hwy>back home is one of my favorite rides round here.

Butler maps said it when they finished their So. Appalachians map. "Undoubtedly the best riding in the United States."

Will you shift your whole business with you John, or sell it and start off in a new direction?

Does this affect your proposed your next NZ trip?

Hey muzz
Probably look for a 9-5 job.  Let someone else stay awake worrying
How are things shaping up from the quake

60-120 miles north east of us. Rocked and rolled for a few minutes but no probs. Seddon/Kaikoura/Waiau where you would have ridden through got walloped. Kaikoura still cut off with huge slips and damaged bridges. Letting the odd convoy go through in two hour bursts on the inland route. Army is still the main supplier to Kaikoura. may be a year before the main coastal road and rail link is restored.

Sounds like semi retirement is in the offing for you. Still looking for a return trip out here?

Tennessee is a great place to live. If it wasn't for our parents, Nana and I would probably still live in Knoxville.
