Anybody have a Stornello 125 Sport 16/47 sprocket set (or a source), so I can replace my Stornello 125 Scrambler's 15/48 set...so I can do maybe 60 mph, instead of trying for 50?

Don't know if this helps, Ebay has two rear sprockets, 51 and a 53 tooth. If this at all helps? Scott http://www.ebay.com/itm/1960s-Moto-Guzzi-Stornello-Motorcycle-Sprockets-53-51-125cc-2-Two-Sprockets-/122239467659?hash=item1c760a408b:g:~gAAAOSwpIdW8EnH&vxp=mtr

I don't know, I could never get any 125cc bike I had to hit 60! Good luck

Thanks, saw those...but 51-53 is going the wrong way.

I did 64 mph on my 66 Stornello on a flat in a tuck at the Giro this year. The little Storny engine pulls pretty nicely.
I love the thing. Great little bikes.

Do not forget: What is added to the top comes off the bottom. Especially evident on hills. Get your kicks going downhill. Plus the size of your brake drums should limit thoughts of going fast. Have you checked your 'shoes'? Good fortune, R3~

My 160 will redline in 5th on the flat, supposed to be 78mph...the floating needle sometimes hits that in it's journey around the clock.
