Title: Explanation of U-Joint phasing
Post by: pyoungbl on December 02, 2016, 08:58:10 AM
With too much time on my hands, I found this interesting video that discusses how U-joints work in a drive shaft.  https://youtu.be/5aCK4Bob6a0

Good explanation. I also found clip of the Norwegian artist's perpetual motion machine next to it of interest.

That's why your VII sport has the arrow on the spline.
It's a very good demo :thumb:

I also checked it out and seen another video there from Koenigsegg explaining their torque convertor technology, may be of some interest to Convert fans. I wonder why Guzzi did not apply the hydraulic drive to the new 1400 Eldo's as technology is far advanced in fluid drive these days or is that an era that they would sooner forget? DonG
