I had an errand to do in Brunswick, just me at the trucks at Lowe's...

Took the long way back and found a rock wall I had not seen before on a small, back road.

"Homer and Seward"  Actually it is Hawaii and Florida . Rented a Suzuki dirt bike during a layover for maintenance at Elmendorf AFB and rode a few miles out of town . Hmm , maybe only two states , if you count maybe crossing into Florida near Gulf Shores Alabama on a dirt road . Not sure about that ?

A favorite?  Route 32 betwixt Waldoboro and Bristol. Run it both ways.  It's a hoot, even in season.  R3~

^You're right, that is a great stretch of road! A favorite 2 hr ride of mine is to leave home, Warren, make the run down to Waldoboro, and on down 32 to Pemaquid, back up the other side of the peninsula to Damariscotta, have lunch at Fernald's. Then with my belly full of delicious lunch ride up through Damariscotta to Head Tide, Alna, Whitefield, Washington, Union and then home.

That is a great loop, I add to it obviously to get back home which might include the ride down to Boothbay back through Edgecomb by way of the Cross point Road or the other way toward Jefferson, Whitefield and onto 218 to more small backroads to home...

Good stuff...
