Thanks, I just watched a little of it and I like it. The story of the industrial revolution in England and Scotland is one of my favorite topics to read about. I'll be watching that series on my TV using a Roku.

I'm gobsmacked! Thanks for posting.

Very cool.thankns for the link. And some people think our Minnesota accent is different.

I wasn't over impressed with the narrow boat one. Fred Dibnah did that stuff better IMO
We're watching"Our Guy in China" which'll come states side before long which is interesting) if only for the"minder" the Chinese government provided

Watched a couple of mins I probably work my way through it, so any bets on how they got Guy to talk so slow for the TV or did they just play his bits at half speed?

Try watching the Vikings, they didn't "need a bigger boat"

OMG, that's funny.
Yes, he does seem to be a bit easier to understand on his TV shows than in race interviews.
Did you notice he mentioned drinking 26 cups of tea per day? Maybe the massive caffine intake might be part of the problem.
Maybe they just had him cut down the amount of tea he drinks.
Guy is a true gearhead. His most prized position is a Rolls Royce Merlin engine (for those that are not warbird fans, it is a 27 litre V12 used in several WWII warbirds, including the Spitfire, Hurricane, P51 Mustang, and Lancaster Bomber(x4) ):

that Guy Martin is something else, you could spend entire weekend watching his various antics,
I was going to link a few videos of him like riding Pikes Peak race,
or the 2 hour build of that Spitfire..
also he has "how to ride the wall of death" ,
Triumph land speed attempt, speed wobble at 217mph.. fail..
rides a bicycle at 112MPH!
I can't find the results but he race a bicycle race called tour divide last summer along the US cont. divide Canada to Mex in 2 weeks.!. Iron man ! entered as terry Smith , I heard he finished in the the top ten ?.
you could waste a hours picking thru these,

but here's a good 3 minutes of the Ulster GP..2012

I love his boat series. I'm half way through the first season.
