Cross-post from the Morini Rider's Club website:
Hello All,
Look what I found on Facebook !! A truly Worthy opponent for the "Baron" to compete with at Bonneville in 2017 MAYBE?
Moto Guzzi vs Moto Morini..........A matchup of perfect proportions...
Robert
Mike Noonan's V35 at Bonneville:

Search Facebook : Mike Noonan Moto Guzzi for two addition pictures and a little info and a short video....
As per the Facebook info, he hit 125 mph at Bonneville on a private non timed run.... That is impressive !
If accurate, the Guzzi is every bit as fast as my Morini !
Killer matchup for sure... I've seen 124.1 mph after 1.35 miles of run at El Mirage (that is all the room there), and I'm 99% sure on the Bonneville 3 mile course (2 miles of run and 1 mile of shutdown) 125 mph, plus change, is in the Baron right now as it sits...

Pretty cool Charlie . Will you be there ?

Amazing that someone has found a way to get that much stomp out of a 350 ... !
And there will be timing slips at the end. It doesn't get any better than that!

No, won't be there.
Robert already has quite a few timing slips. Here's a post after his latest run at El Mirage:
The Supercharged Baron dethroned the Aermacchi as the "World's Fastest Gasoline powered pushrod 350cc Motorcycle"!
The Baron crushed the 10 year old 122.089mph record with a flawless 123.59 mph run that didn't have any tailwind help.
The lakebed was hard and smooth like pavement and the temperature was in the 70's with little to no wind to contend with....
The only disappointment was that my crew chief Amy Dunford was home with a injured knee and wasn't there to see the run...
