Where was #8 taken?

Where was #8 taken?
South Ajo Mountain Drive, just north of Lukeville on the Mexico border.
-
Thanks!
-
Gorgeous pics! Kind of stings to look at them though with the salt and sand on the roads here in the northeast.
-
So there is a world outside of New England?...
Great stuff, thanks, just beautiful
-
Ahhh, theses are the choice I must struggle with every weekend when deciding where to go, It really stinks! Was just at #8 three weeks ago, pictures dont do it justice. :weiner:
-
Very Majestic !
-
Gorgeous pictures. Living in the North East, and facing four months of dismal winter weather, I envy you.
-
Bleak.

Love the pictures. Arizona had my favorite roads when I travelled from Florida to California. As you know there is so much more. Sedona is amazing, Jerome fascinating and so many other places.
Thanks for posting.

Fond Memories, been there.

Nice pics again!! Just came back from a trip a few weeks ago (not on the moto) and decided this time to return home to Houston from Scottsdale via Tombstone and Bisbee and back up to Lordsburg...lots of great open scenery and fast roads to run there for sure! Love the pics! Will have to do it on the moto next year...
-
Thanks for sharing those great pics!
-
Been there, done that. On a Guzzi! Great photos. Jürgen
-
Thanks Daniel. Nice stuff and appreciated. That one shot with all the clouds on the horizon is awesome.
-
Thanks again for your posts with the great pics!! :1: :1:

Great photos! A snowstorm is hitting in MN tomorrow. After clearing the driveway, I'm leaving for AZ next week and those pictures give me inspiration for warm days ahead!!! :thumb:
-
...for warm days ahead!!!
Don't forget, John, that Arizona has a fair amount of this, too...

Great photos!! :thumb:
There is something very alluring and captivating about the wide open expanses of the American Southwest. :thumb:
-
Lots of familiar vistas. I think I even recognize a shot on 89A. Thanks, Daniel!
-
Where's the traffic ? Does anybody live there ? Early morning shots or just not driven ? I love the expanse , vistas and colors . Green is way over done here but very white this winter and unusually cold for Vancouver Island .
Thanks for these , makes me want to book a ticket .
Cheers

Love the roads in Arizona. Here's one on the way to last's year's not-a-rally in Cottonwood.

The road along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is good too:

...and at risk of thread drift, the dirt roads in Arizona are fabulous too. You Stelvio owners ought to get out there and appreciate the dirt and the asphalt. This picture taken 3 weeks ago on a dirt-road ride from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon.

That's Mount Humphreys (aka the San Francisco Peaks) in the background, at over 12,000 feet.

Hi Tom - I keep telling you...you are "living the dream" in Germany, and have yet to realize this.
Spring-summer-fall is fabulous weather for riding / traveling. Stop whining (lol) and enjoy your life over there!! :thumb:
