The Moto Guzzi USA site has this as part of the V9 Roamer discussion:
http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/motorcycles/v9-roamer.html (http://www.motoguzzi-us.com/motorcycles/v9-roamer.html)
"The [crankcase] ventilation system reduces power loss due to pumping within the crank chambers and a new low flow oil pump that absorbs less power. The oil pump suction pipe is new as is the bypass valve."
Anyone here have a V9 Parts Manual with a diagram(s) of the ventilation circuit including bypass valve above?
I am wondering if the "bypass valve" is a possible replacement for the one used on the Breva 750.

I would imagine it is if there is room for it, but what would be the point of changing one out?

If you are racing a small block the lower pressure may give you a small boost-it's an illegal move in many production based classes, can't imagine it helping any Guzzi.
