Santa brought me a Rifle screen for my 2000 Bassa and I thought I would post my opinion after spending a couple hours on the install. I know some members think a windshield will distract from the handling of the machine and since the only experience I have had is a short couple of mile run in 40 degree weather I am still on the fence on that matter. Since I am 6'4'' and have a taller aftermarket Corbin seat on the bike I ordered the shield with two additional inches of height, with a slight grey tint. Installation was rather straight forward and the I will have to say the fork clamps and windshield are of excellent quality. The Goose required a 3/4 inch spacer set up for proper fitment and the wrong mounting kit was sent. A quick trip to True Value Hardware and 18 bucks later the right length screws and spacers were obtained. (Trust me I will be on the phone with the company in the morning to advise them of this problem.) Fitment is excellent and there quite a bit of room for adjustment concerning the angle of the shield. On my short run I only had a shorty helmet with no eye protection and visibility was no problem with limited buffering. Overall I very pleased with the windshield and after a few more miles and seeing what they do concerning sending the wrong mounting hardware I will post a final opinion. Just FYI in case anyone else is in the market for a shield......

I can't speak for any Rifle shield on a Guzzi, but I can for their offering that is installed on my 2010 FJR. Top notch quality and performance. The FJR fitment offers plenty of smooth air when I need it, and because the FJR windshield is power adjustable it gives great weather protection when necessary as well. 6 seasons and 27000 miles, no complaints. I'd bet their Guzzi offerings should be just as good.

Got a tall one on my calvin and love it. Absolutely the best shield I've ever owned. I paired it with a set of Crome Harley fork lowers and ride wind buff free!

Another satisfied customer, here. The Rifle replacement shield on my Vintage has been super. Taller and wider than the stocker, it turned my bike into a far more comfy ride.

Just a little additional on the Rifle Shield. Got up to around 50 degrees here in Virginia today on the first day of 2017. I set out on a mission of delivering several pounds of leftover Smithfield Country ham to a couple of friends in the vicinity on the Bassa. (Salted cured ham is truly a Southern thing that is a real PITA to prepare with several days of soaking with numerous water changes just to get it edible. Even after the intense cooking process, be prepared to consume voluminous amounts of some type of liquid to kill your thirst after several biscuits.) My deliveries took most of the morning and a total of about 60 miles in various road conditions and speeds. The stops included several offers of the "Hair of the Dog" to cure the hangovers lingering from New Years Eve from my a couple of my friends, but being on two wheels I declined. Little did they know I was asleep by 10:30 pm and had to woken by the Wife at midnight to even know 2017 existed.
In summary, this is a damn fine wind screen. I rode the entire distance on back roads, interstate, and everything in between with a shorty helmet and Ray Bans. There was very little buffering and apparently I hit the correct mounting angle immediately. In reference to Rifle sending the wrong mounting kit, they offered to send the correct one asap and were very apologetic for the mistake. It is not the most inexpensive windshield out there, but the quality is excellent. Without a doubt a great addition to your machine.......
