Anybody using this on their V7. seems like a simple relativity cheap way to go.

Many V7 owners (myself included) have gone with the Hepco & Becker C-Bow system. The Givi doesn't appear to improve on that, nor does it offer the same range of selection for different bags.

I don't want to hijack this thread about Givi, however quick question. Why did you go for the C-Bow instead of their regular side carrier? I was contemplating the Junior Enduro, is there a C-Bow case that you would consider an equivalent? Sorry for the twenty questions in advance.

I ride this bike 50% of the three months a year I'm in Az. price is the real issue. these can be bought from Europe for about $315 with the mounts. I'd just like to see a set in person or hear from a user first.
I'd grab a set of HP's if I could find a good used set.

Mark, I think you'll find people choose the cbow for the subtle bracketry compared to the frames required for the hard luggage. For instance a racer looks alright with cbows and no bags where with hard luggage frames (especially without the luggage) it would look a little ambivalent about its purpose.

I don't have any experience with the H&B Juniors, but some on this site do, and can weigh in. From a functionality standpoint, the 30L Juniors probably can't be beat, except for the fact they're side-loading. I'm also pretty sure the C-Bow mounts can be fitted to them. I went with the C-Bow Rugged bags because I was looking for a combo of pretty leather, easy on-off functionality and top-loading.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that was the total price for bags and mounting hardware. That sounds like a solid deal. Probably worth a gamble even if you're the first to try them on a V7. My only concern would be the somewhat flimsy looking mounts on the Givi promotional video, but they might be more sturdy for our bikes. Does Givi have any pics available of the V7 mounts? If you do decide to go with HBs, and can't find any used, I've found the best price is to buy directly from Germany, especially with how strong the dollar is vs. the Euro (also, you won't have to pay VAT). :1: The mounts really do almost disappear when the bags are off.
