Title: Anybody buy a Guzzi from Seminole Power Sports in Sanford FL?
Post by: DaSwami on January 10, 2017, 06:16:48 PM
Huge dealer of many brands, beautiful showroom, but as we know it takes a "certain type" dealer to setup these bikes right.....

Anyone have anything to share?

Thanks,

Scott

I was in there a couple weeks ago and was surprised! They had 8-10 models on the floor including a Stelvio.

The salesman said they had a mechanic that was good and another one pretty good. That and a ten spot will get you a cup of joe at Starbucks.

Yes!  That had a nice selection of Guzzi's for sure.  Including a beautiful blue V7 II Special....

I have been looking around on the internet for a good deal on a V7 II.  Found what I thought was a low-miles used one on Cycle Trader and made contact with the seller - Seminole Powersports.  The salesman didn't seem too excited about shipping it to Lincoln, Nebraska and told me I'd have to arrange shipping myself.  The bike is a 2015 V7 but the listing on their website calls it a V7 II and even includes all the boilerplate brochure info about the V7 II.  Since I'm ignorant about Moto Guzzi, I asked some questions over at ADVrider and RedHawk47 set me straight.  Probably just an honest mistake, but the misleading ad and website listing might be a cause for some concern.

I saw those exact bikes and they are cherry.  but you are right, their ad copy is off and there is a big difference in the bikes, since I'm taking the plunge with them on a V7 II Special I will let them know about it!
