Could someone put a caliper to a Convert atf pump drivepiece -- that 6mm hex? IIRC it's 28mm, but I'd like to be sure before I cut it.
Thanks

I don't know. Odd that no response has arrived. There is a yahoo forum specific to Convert. MGconvert@yahoogroups.com Might get more traffic asking there.

It's one of those things I should just "know", but I had the hydro can EDM drilled deeper than stock and use a 35mm length of drive piece. So 35mm is stuck in my head. I broke a timing cover once by using too long a piece. Trying to avoid that this time.

I posted the question for you at the Convert forum and got this response.
"I have two “OEM” Guzzi hex drive pieces, they are both 31.5mm in length I also have a Harper’s replacement which is 32mm long.
Hope this helps, Wayne"
