Does anyone know if the BMW 48m diameter pistoned, twin bleed caliper is the same item fitted to the old Guzzis?
I'm looking to replace the P08 on my LM2 which still leaks after 3 rebuilds / re seals.

Not exactly, will fit, but P9 bigger pistons may change feel of brake . They take slightly bigger pads too, theoretically better
Re leak, when I was doing this a lot (replacing rusty pistons in UK) often I'd reuse the old o ring twixt sides, new ones were wrong thickness.
Also remember some bolts being supplied with shank too long so bottomed out without actually being tight
Between these one will fix your leak but old bolts and o ring surely will

Thanks for the info...my caliper leak is coming from the pistons. I've had the thing apart countless times, replaced the chrome pistons (although nothing
wrong with them) with alloy ones, and resealed as I say 3 times. Bores look fine, but I can't keep trying to re seal.
